What did previous participants say about the Metro 10 Race? Here are some of the highlights from our race surveys and social media
“Love your race. have done all 3 years. The first year, a friend saw the race advertised, and we liked the idea of Rochester vs. Buffalo. About 20 of us signed up for the full 10 miles the first year. boy was it hot. I really like your earlier start time, and the option to do 5 miles. All of us that can make it keep coming back each year. Looking forward to next year.”
“This was one of the most enjoyable running events I have ever participated in. It was a race, but for some of us who take a little longer it was as much social as racing, I was on the Rochester team, and along the way I wound up running with folks from both cities and had some great interactions and discussions.”
“LOVED LOVED LOVED this race!”
“All the volunteers were great! Pass along a big thanks to all of them for keeping us safe, giving us comfort and letting us enjoy the run.”
“I thought the course was great. Those last two little kickers in the last mile were cruel (in a good way). All in all it was a great event, well organized, unique course, and a classic distance.”
“A fantastic event overall. Probably the best event of the dozen or so that I ran this year. Wonderful course. Terrific after-party! You knocked it out of the park”
” It was really well organized and run. Plus, 10 miles was a fun distance to race. My wife and I really enjoyed the race and will certainly be back next year.”
“Everything about this event was above standards. Great job!!
